Wedding at Region 14 Championships
 

In early 2004 Danny Thompson and Deneb Chaffin, AHA members one from Region 12 & the other from Region 14, were talking on the AHA forum they would like to meet each other face to face at the upcoming SAHIBA Arabian Horse Show in Frankfort, KY . Not only did they get to meet face to face at the show by coincidence their stalls were right across from each other. Over the next few years when attending the same Arabian horse shows SAHIBA, Silverama/Region 14, Sporthorse Nationals, Morab Nationals, & the Bluegrass shows Danny & Deneb ask to be stabled together. Last fall both attended the Music City Show, US Nationals & were delegates at convention. The friendship grew to a romance and Danny & Deneb became engaged at the SAHIBA Arabian Horse show this past May. During a discussion of when and where to have the wedding both mentioned to the other of having it at Region 14 Championships. Well, after a few emails & calls to Cindy Clinton, Larry Kinneer , Tony Conners , Jeff Caldwell and Carl Malicote it became a reality. On July 7, 2007 in center ring of the Kentucky Horse Park during the evening break of the Region 14 Championships the couple exchanged wedding vows.
